Our company
Foraday is a women- and gay-owned business that started with the goal of making costumes more inviting, accessible, and sustainable.
We started our journey during a walk on the beach in 2019 and our dream became a reality when we saw how crafting a costume brings friends and family together. We continue to design and produce our costumes ourselves.
I use A4, not US-Letter sized paper, will the print-it-yourself version work for me?
Yes! Refer to our printing FAQ and do not scale your prints and they should work fine. As with all great scientific endeavors be prepared to experiment a little with your home setup.
My costume doesn’t fit! Help!
Every Foraday costume has instructions to fit that costume to all bodies. If you’re still having trouble getting your costume to fit, reach out to us.
What supplies do I need to put my costume together?
For most costumes, just scissors and glue. We put a full list of what’s needed on every costume page. If you’re ready to start your journey down the way of the expert crafter, you might be interested in our expertly recommended crafting supplies.
I’m a teacher, can I print multiples of the digital file for my class?
Yes. Digital files allow you to re-print as many times as you’d like, per household or classroom (up to 30 students). If you want to use this across multiple classrooms, say if you’re an Art teacher, we ask you purchase a digital file per class you plan on using the costume with so we can continue to make high-quality costumes your students love to build.

I’m a parent, can I print multiple copies of the digital file for all my kids?
Yes, and print one for yourself too!

Can I pay Foraday to make me a custom costume?
Not at this time. Start by making a couple Foraday costumes, and then try making your own. We know you can do it! Send us pictures by uploading your creation to instagram and tagging us #foraday
When will you offer international shipping?
We’re actively working on a shipping partner for international sales. When we find our perfect match we’ll announce it through our email announcements—sign up to be the first to know!
The costume I built was really difficult.
We believe with time and patience, anyone can be an expert crafter. While you’re on that journey we aim to provide the most easy-to-follow instructions that you can preview before buying, and video tutorials with every Foraday costume.

Can I buy a completed & assembled costume?
Not at this time.
Can I use a Foraday costume in my art, music video, film, or theater show?
Our Terms and Conditions specify the costumes are for private use only. We love working with artists. Reach out to us we’d love to hear about what you’re doing and how we can help.
I own a craft, toy, zebra-monkey shop, and I’d love to sell Foraday costumes there!
Items on our website may not be resold—that said, tell us more about this zebra-monkey shop! We’re always open to discussing retail partnerships.
